Change can be made by connecting people to poems detailing the sort of ideals that humanity needs to grow and change. Bringing people back to the values they were taught by parents and teachers when they were young is another purpose these poems possess.Ultimately, these poems are important because of the innate power poetry has to influence and deeply affect people.
