Do you ever look at the trees?Do you ever see them looking back at you?Sometimes I swear I can hear them whisperingsweet songs to each other.Poems is a collection in which Aicha Daidai expresses herself through verses that explore themes of love, healing, and the nuances of everyday life.It is a way to contemplate ordinary yet significant experiences that are part of our daily lives and have a meaningful impact on them. The author, through these verses, guides us through challenging waters with honesty and deep insight into our journey toward harmony with nature and our surroundings. My name is Aicha Daidai.I always loved English literature in school and especially loved Poetry as I enjoyed trying to understand the readers use of language and interpreting it into my own understanding of the poem.I believe that poetry is a form of expression and allows you to get to know the authors’ mind and soul the way books and novels don’t.I have suffered with mental health issues since I was 18 and always found writing my thoughts down to be a form of therapy. As time progressed, I began to turn those thoughts I had written down into a poetic form as it allowed me to understand myself better through imaginative language.I would consider myself to be a dreamer, and poetry allows me to dream and turn my thoughts into art which is up for interpretation. My goal and dream is to inspire people with my poetry, whether its people going through hardship or struggles or people who have come out of it but can relate to the dark times.I believe all types of love are to be cherished and I reflect that a lot in my poetry as holding onto love is what pulled me through my darkest times. I hope you enjoy my poems, and they resonate with you in a positive way and inspires you to keep going when times are tough.
