This book is a direct reflection of what Christ did for me five years ago. I’m ashamed to say for many years I claimed to be a Christian while my actions said just the opposite. I was even called out once. I was asked if I was a Christian and I responded yes. Someone that knew me was standing there. He laughed and said 'sure you are'. My heart attack six years ago had me thinking more about God but I was still holding on to the worldly things that we are told to refrain from. One day I’m watching television and I come across a pastor that grabbed my attention. In hind sight God got my attention that day. This sermon had a huge impact on me. I didn’t really have a relationship with Christ. I hadn’t truly surrendered my life to him. Since that day I’ve been a different person. That’s when I finally found my love for Jesus. Out of nowhere I start writing these poems. It was as if God was using my hand to write down words he was putting in my heart. After much encouragement, I had my poems published. It is my desire to glorify my Lord through this work. I hope you enjoy these poems, more so I hope they inspire you in your walk with Jesus.
