They relate some interesting aspects of Sicily even if some of them didn’t visit the island. There are poems about the myths of Arethusa and Enceladus, the volcano Etna with its destructive magma, the sicilian landscape with its flowers and trees, important Sicilian towns like Catania with its monks, Taormina that smells of almond blossom, Syracuse with its greek history and Palermo with its arab dome.
