Poetry expresses the deepest thoughts and feelings of our souls. It empowers us when seeking a goal, encourages us to stay in control, and enlightens us toward being made whole. I’ve always been fascinated with poems. As a child, I would cut them from old books, magazines, and newspaper articles and paste them into my own special poem book. When I got older, I began to write my own poems. I couldn’t wait for special occasions like Christmas and birthdays to give them as gifts to my family and friends! Although Enlighten Your Life, one of my previous books, works wonderfully as a motivational book, I wanted to have all my poems compiled into one volume; therefore, my third book, Poems for Hungry Souls: 101 Spiritual Poems, was conceived.The poems in this book were lovingly crafted to help you find winning solutions, overcome challenging situations, and guide you to firmly stand on God’s unmovable foundation.It is my earnest desire and my greatest hope that this thought-provoking book helps inspire, invigorate, and improve your life!Poems for Hungry Souls: 101 Spiritual Poems addresses many of life’s issues that can lead to worry, stress, and fear; but if you 'Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, ...
