En estas estrofas de versos endecasílabos libres de rima, he intentado expresar mi modo de ver distintas cuestiones del ser humano y de cómo le va la vida hoy, en estos tiempos nuestros. No toda poesía tiene por qué ser vistosa. Hay múltiples ejemplos de poemas construidos sin incluir las bellas y eficaces figuras de lenguaje que en otros tiempos se consideraban casi indispensables. Pero un poco de mala conciencia o de resquemor me ha llevado a anteponer a estas estrofas un soneto que intenta acercarse al estilo clásico, con un toque, casi inane, de pretendida belleza. 10
