How can a remote tribe that has never met a Christian, who can’t read a Bible in their language or visit a local church- hear the good news of Jesus? In Planting Gospel Seeds, Rose Dowsett answers this question by sharing the extraordinary story of how God revealed himself to the mountain-dwelling Tadyawan people in the Philippines, showing the transformation the gospel brought and how the Lord continues to work through Christians around the world today.Enter Rose’s friend, Canadian missionary Dode Pack. Dode and her colleagues devoted their lives to sharing the gospel with the Tadyawan. They persevered to find the tribe in the mountains and learnt to communicate in a language never before written down. Yet they were to discover God had already prepared the Tadyawan for their arrival and to receive his message. Alongside Dode’s experiences, Rose draws on her own stories from working with Christian students in Manila and decades of ministry around the world to grow your faith and help you explore how God can use you to carry the gospel, too, whether at home or abroad. This is a story of God’s supernatural power to work behind the scenes and right before your eyes. Of patience, perseverance, sacrifice and how the gospel takes root and brings a Christlike transformation.
