When hard times hit and the Jensens lose their farm, they must look for work elsewhere, leaving their beloved pig, Bruno, behind.Alone in the barn, Bruno grows despondent. He loses weight, and when his new owners discuss bringing him to market while he can still fetch a good price, he knows that his days are numbered.Early one morning, before anyone is awake, Bruno leaves the farm and goes in search of the family he lost. His journey on foot, by truck, and plane takes him far afield on an adventure, which eventually reunites him with the Jensens.
