Within this framework, counter-terrorism strategies are classified into three types: yin (subtle and flexible), yang (overt and forceful), and a balanced yin-yang synthesis. The author further underscores corruption as a fundamental cause of terrorism, arguing that eradicating corruption is essential to achieving lasting security.Through a wide range of historical case studies, the book illustrates both the feasibility and persuasiveness of applying Chinese military thought to counter-terrorism practices. It also demonstrates the transformative capacity of Chinese culture to promote social harmony.
