Phật Giáo Hướng Dẫn Thế Kỷ 21 là một tài liệu gồm 12 tham luận được trình bày tại Hội Nghị Nghiên Cứu Học Thuật Phật Giáo Quốc Tế lần thứ Tám vào các ngày 27 và 28 tháng 10 năm 1995 tại Đài Loan bởi các diễn giả thuộc nhiều thành phần của nhiều quốc gia khác nhau. Nhằm cung cấp thêm tài liệu cho những ai đã và đang thao thức cho một nền Phật Giáo Việt Nam huy hoàng rực rỡ, chúng tôi cố gắng chuyển dịch tập sách này với mỗi một ước vọng duy nhất: Đóng góp phần nhỏ vào công cuộc phục hưng Đạo Pháp, lợi lạc quần sanh. Dẫu cho, đã có một số tư tưởng, quan điểm dị biệt, không hoàn toàn phù hợp với cách nhìn của người dịch, dù vậy, trong tinh thần vô tư và khách quan, chúng tôi cố gắng chuyển dịch một cách trung thực và trọn vẹn những ý kiến của các diễn giả vì chúng tôi quan niệm rằng trong một vườn hoa, sự góp mặt của nhiều hương sắc khác nhau tất nhiên sẽ giúp cho người thưởng ngoạn có được cơ hội để so sánh, bình phẩm.
