L’économie mondiale continue de faire preuve de résilience, même si la vigueur de l’activité et les revenus ont été variables selon les pays et les secteurs. L’inflation a poursuivi son repli, ce qui a soutenu les revenus réels, mais la confiance des consommateurs n’a pas encore retrouvé son niveau d’avant la pandémie dans de nombreux pays. La croissance mondiale devrait s’établir à 3.2 % cette année, et 3.3 % en 2025 et 2026, sous l’effet d’un nouveau recul de l’inflation. Les perspectives sont néanmoins très incertaines. Une intensification des tensions géopolitiques ou des restrictions aux échanges mondiaux pourraient compromettre la poursuite de la désinflation et les perspectives de croissance. Dans le même temps, des chocs futurs pourraient déclencher des corrections perturbatrices sur les marchés financiers, amplifiées par l’endettement élevé et la valorisation excessive de certains actifs. Les principales priorités de l’action publique consistent à assurer un repli continu et durable de l’inflation, à renforcer les efforts pour établir une trajectoire budgétaire crédible qui assurera la viabilité de la dette et des réformes ambitieuses pour une croissance plus forte, durable et inclusive à moyen terme.
