Personal therapy is required in many counseling and psychotherapy training programs around the world, with the belief that it leads to better personal and professional outcomes. Personal therapy, on the other hand, is not considered useful by certain counseling students. As a result, this study looked at the impact of mandatory personal therapy on counseling students at a few universities in Nairobi, Kenya.
