(Taken from within) In the Perpetual Victim, I seek to survey the victim mentality and prayerfully persuade others to be accountable for themselves. It must be said that, although we strive for perfection, the journey toward self-transcendence will not make you the 'perfect' person; however, it will contribute to you bringing forth the best version of you. In doing so, one must understand that discovering your transcended self is not an exhaustive process because one discovers something new about his or her self on an ongoing basis. I also seek to do so by emphasizing the need for obtaining and understanding the meaning in one’s life. This is not to say this book will provide those answers, but to hopefully nudge others in a direction where they too will consult their Maker as well as themselves because that’s where the source of meaning lies. 3
