Cet ouvrage propose une synthèse de certains de nos travaux de recherche antérieurs. Il présente tout d’abord une étude des interactions entre deux protocoles de routage (AODV, DSR) et deux versions de protocoles de transport (TCP New Reno, Vegas). À la suite de cette étude, nous avons mené des simulations afin d’analyser le comportement de ces protocoles en fonction de différents niveaux de mobilité des nœuds et de charge du réseau. Les résultats de performance de chaque protocole ont été examinés afin d’identifier nos propres scénarios et d’évaluer la solution que nous proposons pour améliorer les interactions entre ces protocoles. Cette solution, appelée CL-TCP (Cross Layer TCP), consiste en une adaptation du mécanisme de contrôle de congestion TCP intégrant certains paramètres fournis par la couche de routage (mobilité des nœuds et longueur du chemin de routage). L’évaluation de CL-TCP a montré que ce protocole améliore significativement les interactions entre les protocoles TCP Vegas et AODV.
