The title of this book PEREGINUS indicates several concepts. First, a definition from Merriam-Webster.com defines the word peregrine as being one who is prone to wandering. Etymology tells us that that word is Latin and French in origin. A similar word is pilgrim, which denotes that a pilgrim is one who wanders from place to place with a single purpose in mind. These could be such as: visiting one’s historical roots and connection or seeking to follow in the footsteps of another. Another facet of that word refers to the classification of a powerful falcon, a predator, that can be found in places across the planet. This creation naturally wanders from place to place in search of prey and habitation.
