PEOPLE OF THE STARSAstrology and the History of the Jewish PeopleFrom ancient times, the Jewish people have been connected to the starry script of the heavens. Theirs has been a challenging journey, and this book traces Jewish history from the times of the Bible, through their persecution and triumph over the ages, from the medieval courts of Spain and Portugal, to the vicious pogroms in Europe, WWII and The Holocaust and their long-awaited return to the land of Israel. The achievements of the Jewish people have been enormous, despite the fact that they make up only a small percentage of the world’s population. They have enhanced the world in so many ways, from music to science, economics and technology, film and philanthropy, among many other fields. The Jewish people bring light to a world that seems intent on dimming it, but they overcome each obstacle with dignity and grace. It is time for the truth of their existence to be acknowledged and appreciated.
