This is a memoir about my conjoined twin pregnancy. Prior to this stage in my life, I used to think, with every hard thing I had to do, every hard thing I had to go through, that it would all be OK. I would give myself a mental pep talk and loved to tell myself 'People do this every day; people do this every day.' To me, knowing that people did the same hard things I was fearing and got through it every day, helped me get through it. That is, until this hard thing. I realized, continuously throughout this story, that people, in fact, DO NOT do this every day. That fact somehow made it all even harder.People don’t do this every day.
