Es zeigt sich, dass besonders die Mutter-Kind-Bindung im zentralen Zusammenhang mit der Peer-Interaktion von Kleinkindern steht. Denn zur Mutter sicher gebundene Kinder waren deutlich häufiger in Kontakte mit Peers involviert. Bei unsicherer Bindung zur Mutter hat eine sichere Bindung zur Tagesmutter positive kompensatorische Effekte hinsichtlich der kindlichen Sozialkompetenz.
