Stefan is a mechanical engineer, married to Dana with two children. He lives a quiet life, unaware that his cold and insensitive behaviour is driving him away from his wife and preventing him from forming deep friendships. A mountain lover, he decides to climb the challenging Peak Tower alone. On the way, he meets the enigmatic and mysterious Demetrius, who is also determined to conquer the same mountain. They decide to continue together. The conversations between the two will lead Stefan on an inner journey in search of the memories of a trauma that has been erased from his memory and that can only now take shape to be processed and accepted. To reach the summit, he will have to bring up forgotten memories, come to terms with his own emotions and find the strength to forgive himself.

Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...
