These directly refer to humans’ basic psychological needs when acting as members of a system or organization. A Peaceful Leader’s role in fulfilling these needs is actualized through competency in five critical areas: Patience, Engagement, Appreciation, Curiosity, and Empowerment.  Peaceful Leadership is the only leadership model developed by conflict experts specifically to prevent conflict-rich environment and foster peace-oriented cultures. The model applies core concepts of peace and conflict psychology to the fields of organizational psychology and leadership development in a robust merging of multidisciplinary approaches that address the challenges of human systems, such as cooperation, interdependent productivity, and life satisfaction and engagement in groups. Peaceful leadership can be learned and applied by leaders of people in any system: supervisors in a workplace, elected officials in a community, heads of household in a family, or any other network.
