Questa ricerca si propone di analizzare il pemfigo dal punto di vista della problematizzazione delle relazioni di potere/verità e soggettivazione che producono le modalità di esperienza che il soggetto fa di se stesso. La ricerca è stata condotta utilizzando i riferimenti genealogici di Michel Foucault e il concetto di tracce/linee cartografiche di Gilles Deleuze. Dal punto di vista di un’estetica dell’esistenza sociale e ospedaliera, ha delimitato i tracciati cartografici lungo due linee: problematizzare il pemfigo come malattia cronica interpretata da un discorso biomedico e discutere le politiche sanitarie e le loro ripercussioni sulle pratiche di cura. Il problema della ricerca nasce dall’esperienza dell’autrice come infermiera in un ospedale di riferimento per il pemfigo o cura del fuoco selvaggio (popolarmente conosciuto). Il pemfigo è noto come una malattia cronica autoimmune della pelle con vesciche, il cui trattamento influisce in modo significativo su vari aspetti della vita del paziente. Ed è proprio nel campo delle relazioni e dei significati che questo studio rifletterà, poiché le esperienze del pemfigo costituiscono una politica che produce discorsi che si iscrivono sulla vita, sul corpo e sulla pelle.
