La cultura di un popolo è da sempre il principio guida della maggior parte delle società africane. Come stile di vita totale, ha moderato le attività delle rispettive società in tutti gli sforzi umani. La cultura definisce l’identità individuale come membro di un gruppo etnico, è stata la panacea con cui si è ottenuto prestigio, onestà e integrità. Ha unito le società in modo tale che l’osservanza della legge e dell’ordine fosse fondamentale, il rispetto degli anziani e delle autorità costituite secondo le linee tradizionali fosse supremo. Ha plasmato la mente umana a temere non solo i sistemi di culto locali, ma anche l’Essere divino con la massima sacralità. Il XXI secolo ha segnato una svolta nei sistemi di credenze africani, come risultato dell’alta considerazione che i giovani hanno accordato alla modernizzazione. Il risultato è stato il palese abuso dei sistemi di dissuasione africani. Accresciuto dall’incursione delle religioni moderne e della tecnologia dell’informazione e della comunicazione, il giovane africano è in rotta di collisione con la sua eredità.
