Poetic expression is constrained by the language, history and culture from which it springs, but it is not confined by these. Poetry has traditions, but every inspiration is as unique as each human soul. Everyone experiences life as no one else does, or has, or ever will again. Each poet’s creativity is inspired through that unique and on-going experience. Poetry is as diverse as our humanity and as changeable as the times of our lives. Through the world of time and in our very beings there are impressions that trace the passing of human experience. We cross or follow or merely imagine these paths as we wander through life. Pathfinder is inspired by trails I have followed with others and possibilities of paths I have tried to trace for myself toward whatever lies ahead. I hope readers will be intrigued by sights and conceptions that have fascinated me along the way.
