Farmer Pete’s farm was known for growing many delicious vegetables, but his pumpkin patch was the most famous pumpkin patch in the entire county! King Boris was greedy and mean, and under his reign, all the other pumpkins suffered. He stole all the sunlight and rain, and didn’t allow the other pumpkins to grow. With King Boris’ rule over the patch, how would any of the other pumpkins grow to be big, round, and orange enough to be chosen for Jack-o’-lanterns? How would Farmer Pete make enough money to keep his farm open for another year?
