For both aesthetic and functional reasons, our patients need to consider replacing missing teeth. Today, there are many prosthetic solutions available for both partially edentulous and edentulous patients. Partial removable prostheses are still the solution of choice. Indeed, even if fixed prostheses are for many an ideal solution, thanks to their aesthetic and comfort advantages, and the increasingly popular implant solution, it is still often unavoidable to have recourse to a removable solution, and this will continue to be the case in the years to come. The design and fabrication of a removable partial denture is of paramount importance, and duplication of the patient’s anatomical structures is the most important element to be provided to the dental technician.
