Is your daughter struggling with an eating disorder? How can you be sure? Do you remember the last time she ate a meal and didn’t seem unhappy or preoccupied? How long is she in the restroom after dinner? Can you be sure she’s alright? I can help you. This book is dedicated to helping parents understand an eating disorder called Bulimia Nervosa. I am writing based on my experience with the disease. The personal accounts within this book can aid in identifying and overcoming this disorder. Too many parents go through the motions of work, home, small talk and repeat with their daughters. This book can help you to identify the patterns and pitfalls of bulimia in your daughter.Twenty years ago, I was caught in the grips of Bulimia Nervosa. The disorder made me feel as though I had an inner anchor. I stood at 5 foot 2 inches, weighed 92 pounds, and wore a size zero in jeans. I will relate to you within this book the ways I beat this eating disorder and how you can help your daughter do the same.Eating disorders can take their toll on your daughter, your relationship with her, and your lives as a whole. I have written this book as a guide for you to find an outlet for your thoughts, coping mechanisms for your concerns and a way forward in your daily interactions with each other. It is important to understand, this disease is not attention seeking, but instead a reaction to overattentive environments. If you read through this book, you will find tips and guides to understand your daughter’s struggle. This guide serves to help navigate the tightrope of a highly delicate topic with your daughter.Today we find ourselves interacting more through mass media and phone applications, than on an individual level. It would be nice to be able to sit down and have a sincere talk about our feelings, relationships, and stressors. Can you honestly say your daughter looks happy? Just generally. Are you noticing her eating habits too much or too little? Do you discuss her or interact with her at the dinner table? There is a clear difference. I can show you the way forward.Within ’Parents Guide: Inner Anchor’, you will discover:Ways to understand eating disordersTips to identify bulimia and its effects on daily habitsImprove communication with your daughter about her daily lifeHow to get your daughter back from the grips of bulimiaWhen struggling with bulimia, food can feel like a heavy anchor inside oneself. Getting to know the woman your daughter is becoming, interacting with her in a respectful and healthy way and trying new eating habits is what overcoming this eating disorder is all about.Helping your daughter move forward from external opinions and truly seeing her value in the mirror instead of the numbers on the scale is what this book is all about. I have battled this disease, largely alone and want you as her parent, to understand the problem. This book is dedicated to helping you understand Bulimia Nervosa and help your daughter overcome it.I invite you to read through this guide. You have an opportunity to understand your daughter and help alter her perception without harming herself in the process. Take it. Get back in the game.
