Z tego paradygmatu, nowa historia zalecana przez Annales w połowie ubiegłego wieku, a później rozłam historii społecznej i jej przesunięcie w kierunku historii kultury, jest podejściem wybranym do niniejszych badań. W ramach twórczości kulturalnej w naszym kraju pojawia się ogromne zjawisko, chilijska Nueva Canción.
