Hoje em dia, a utilização de palavras grosseiras pelos adolescentes nas conversas quotidianas com os seus pares é um sinal de uma má cultura. Usar palavras grosseiras, especialmente numa conversa formal, não é educado; além disso, os falantes que usam palavras grosseiras também podem causar uma má imagem da nação ou do ambiente em que vivem.
