Diverse societies, diverse voices--and never enough time to write. Follow the rocky path to publication of one atypical writers’ group, The Saturday Gang/Write Now International through short fiction and poetry. From haiku on scraps of paper to traditionally and self-published collections, there are stories and poems for you in the collections that chronicle one small but determined group of writers. Members don’t pay dues, can’t always attend, and have ranged from a few to a few more. We open the meetings to all, and encourage them to write what they want--but to write. We all have a passion to chronicle our diverse backgrounds and the worlds we live in, and we’ve released several collections of poetry, short fiction, and memoirs. From members who had never written to members who have writtren since they were 6, we really share only a genuine need to write--and putting the collections out allows us to gain experience and insight. Some of our members have been published independently of the group, and some of our members have written all their lives, but never found a way to share. We hope that the stories and poems in Pages Out of Time will strike a chord with readers. Words should matter. We hope you enjoy ours. --Leslie P. Garcia for The Saturday Gang/Write Now International

Stuart Evans’s first novel is a comedy-of-ill-manners set in a nouveau riche milieu: a fantastic satirical performance and hyper-referential homage to masters past and present. Paul Keller is the Stephen Dedalus of the piece, the son of Robert and Sylvie, whose internal monologue is spliced into the action, and whose incestuous feelings for his sister lead to an increase in his...
