His experience in dealing with social issues ranges from working for labour development in factories at various regions of the country in organizations like Philips and Powergrid Corporation of India Ltd. as well as from his experience ofworking with the National Commission for Scheduled Castes and the National Foundation for Communal Harmony. His flair for writing stems from his childhood days when he was part of the editorial team of the annual magazine of Mayo College, Ajmer. He continued editing and working on articles related to socio-economic issues in the capacity of the chief editor of the History Society Journal at Kirori Mal College and as editor of the HR Mesh - the monthly human resource management issue ofthe HR Forum at his MBA institute. Here Arpit took the initiative of founding a social science forum to debate on socio-political issues and for spreading community awareness in the youth by the name of Vichaar.
