Questo studio si concentra sul miglioramento dell’efficienza energetica e del throughput di rete nelle reti Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) e Narrowband Cognitive Radio IoT (NB-CR-IoT). Per prolungare la durata della batteria degli utenti NB-IoT (CENU) ai margini delle celle, viene proposta un’assegnazione a tre hop che utilizza un modello di asta doppia, supportata dall’algoritmo EENU-MWM per un’efficiente corrispondenza degli utenti. Con la crescita dell’utilizzo dei dispositivi IoT, si presentano sfide come la congestione dello spettro e l’hardware limitato per il rilevamento continuo. Per risolvere questo problema, nelle reti NB-CR-IoT e NB-CR-IoMT vengono introdotti parametri di rilevamento e nodi di relè ottimali, che migliorano il throughput e riducono la potenza di trasmissione. Nel settore sanitario, il monitoraggio in tempo reale dei pazienti tramite dispositivi IoT richiede un uso efficiente dello spettro e la raccolta di energia. Un progetto basato sul raggruppamento consente la raccolta di energia in base alla vicinanza ai punti di accesso, migliorando le prestazioni in reti come le Wireless Body Area Network. I dispositivi trasmettono i dati quando lo spettro non è occupato dagli utenti primari, massimizzando l’uso dell’energia e la durata di vita e riducendo al minimo le interferenze. Questo approccio completo garantisce una comunicazione IoT sostenibile e scalabile in vari settori.
