OTHER LIVES is a series of 20 stories of lives with karmic interconnections. Neither the lives nor their connections are continuous in time but appear sporadically in the past, present, or future, or sometimes in parallel overlay. Beginning with two celestial bodies who opt for life in the flesh on Earth and its endless possibilities of experience, their incarnations are inspired by dreams and sudden revelations. By a picture or a scene or a snatch of dialog. By a paragraph in a book or by some casual remark made by a friend. By the memory of a long ago pain or happiness. From there spin out stories of other lives. Of loss creating hope. Of death celebrating life at its last moment. Of soul meeting soul. And always the recognition of love. To enhance the musical flow of the narrative the author has opted for the minimum of absolutely necessary punctuation: Life is a story without commas.
