Except, this is not an everyday fairytale and not even kisses will do the trick. It is only when the king condemns the young man to death that the princess is moved to speak. She cries out to save the man who has captured her heart. The silent princess ultimately uses the power of her voice to save the day...and the man she loves. Told in rhyme with engaging illustrations, this story can be read aloud to children of all ages or enjoyed by any child who loves a whimsical take on the traditional fairytale.
