Thebook I have written is a conquest and triumph. It has taken 3 or 4 decades of living and learning about life and havingmaterial to write about.Ichose the title “On The Beaten Path” because itconveys a variety of emotions and being beat up emotionally. Thisbook has five sections pertaining to each category. I wanted each poem in that section to relateto that section. This book has been along and rewarding experience to me and hope people will enjoy it as the feeling are mine and may relate to others.Thepoems reveal the emotions of the heart and from a sensitive heart andsoul. The poems reveal a philosophicalnature and the individual dealing with inner strength and struggles.Thesections contain love, life’s experiences, change ofthe seasons, inner thoughts, memories, and thought in the attic.Thisbook is a labor and love. My friendshave waited for this book in a long time. I am glad I took the time to do this.
