On Life, Death And Nude Painting is divided into 2 sections : 'art studio' musings with reflections on creativity, drawing, painting, artists, art, etc.The second half is about 'other world' musings. It covers topics such as family dynamics, authority, criticism, self, excellence, etc. But despite the wide array of subject matter, the universal theme in this book is the fast disappearing talent we all have : ''thinking''. On Life, Death and Nude Painting encourages (nags?) creative individual thinking back to life. As the author, I want readers to once again consider, discuss and argue with intense emotion if need be. All my reflections are catalysts for discussions - ''jolts'' to take back our thinking powers. Otherwise, I fear that one day someone is going to decide that we shouldn’t bother anymore. . . that they can think more easily and ''better'' than we can. . . And so, this book is my token stab at rekindling thinking. Would love your feedback!
