One of my greatest rewards is to bring a smile to a child’s face. They love to see farm animals and reading the nursery rhymes. As a small child when I would spend my summers in Southern Illinois, I loved the farm animals that were in the area. All the farmer that I would see were farmers of color. With this book, I decided to put a farmer of color for my illustrations so that little children of color could assimilate with the farmer in this book. This old-time classic picture book showcasing all the animals that 'Old MacDonald' has to take care of will help some children learn the sounds of one of his seven animals. The example, this book offers, will give my grandchildren and your child a better understanding of how kindness to animals can rank as a moral virtue in every society. With the charming animal illustrations and the all so familiar heart-warming nursery rhyme, this book will surely bring a smile to some children’s face.
