Diese Abhandlung entstand im Zuge des Innovationsfonds-Projektes „Land|Rettung - Notfallmedizinische Neuausrichtung eines Landkreises'. Das Ziel war die Ermittlung, ob die mit Land|Rettung eingeführten Innovationen im Landkreis Vorpommern-Greifswald zu Unterschieden in dem Patienten-Outcome und den prä- und klinischen Behandlungskosten geführt haben. Dafür wurden vergleichend die Jahre 2017 (ohne Telemedizin im Landkreis) und 2018 (mit Telemedizin im Landkreis) gegenübergestellt. Das methodische Vorgehen bestand in einer postalischen Patientenbefragung, die in Kooperation mit dem Eigenbetrieb Rettungsdienst Landkreis Vorpommern-Greifswald in 2018 und 2019 durchgeführt wurde. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass weder eine signifikante Verbesserung der rettungsdienstlichen Notfallversorgung gegeben ist, noch dass es zu einer signifikanten Verschlechterung in der Versorgung kommt.
