The main purpose of this short essay is to highlight certain symbolic elements that we have been able to detect in the myth and tragic story of Oedipus, son of Laios and Jocasta, before the hero realized that he had killed his own father and married his own mother, atrocious truths that would drive him to leave Thebes and go into exile once again, in order to free his city from the plague. We set ourselves the task of decoding, as far as possible, the meanings and symbolisms of the young exiled Oedipus, who is confronted with the enigmas of a destiny that does not know, yet accomplishes.
