The aim of paediatric palliative care is to improve the quality of life of seriously ill and dying children and young people. Within the multi-professional team, occupational therapists make a significant contribution to achieving the goals of the child and their family. This qualitative research study provides a detailed account of specific areas of occupational therapy practice in this setting. Furthermore, it comprehensively describes the importance of occupational therapy within the multi-professional team providing paediatric palliative care.
