Cette initiative de changement a impliqué la mise en place d’un essai portant sur l’observation par les pairs de l’enseignement (POT), réalisé uniquement par l’auteur, qui a bénéficié de l’aide d’une équipe correspondante sur le site de l’essai. La raison d’être de ce projet était de développer une assurance qualité renforcée dans l’enseignement et l’apprentissage au sein d’un établissement d’enseignement supérieur médical au Moyen-Orient. L’objectif ultime de cette initiative était de garantir que l’enseignement soit dispensé selon les normes les plus élevées, évalué de manière continue, de préférence par le biais de la POT.
