Pretende igualmente analisar a estratégia de comunicação da OMS na implementação do Programa de Saúde Materno-Infantil no Chade, a fim de avaliar a sua eficácia e influência na população-alvo, propondo simultaneamente soluções adequadas para contribuir eficazmente para a redução da taxa de mortalidade materna e infantil no Chade. A comunicação é uma alavanca essencial na implementação de qualquer política de saúde materna e infantil. Ajuda a sensibilizar as mulheres, as suas famílias e os seus maridos, bem como as autoridades tradicionais, administrativas e religiosas, para os riscos associados às gravidezes não assistidas por pessoal de saúde qualificado e à falta de imunização infantil.
