O Professor Rafael David Francisco Ventura é professor de matemática e escritor. Atualmente é professor e coordenador da área de matemática no campus FEM do ISFODOSU, também professor de programas de formação pós-graduada. Autor do livro Aprendizaje y enseñanza de la matemática. Uma abordagem didática para uma aprendizagem eficaz. Colaborador ativo na elaboração e revisão de programas de licenciatura para a área da matemática no curso de educação primária do ISFODOSU. No ano 2000, começou a lecionar matemática e informática no Politécnico Nuestra Señora del Carmen em Santo Domingo. Ministrou diversos workshops, cursos e conferências relacionados com o ensino da matemática, o desenvolvimento do raciocínio lógico e a utilização da tecnologia nos níveis pré-escolar, primário, secundário e superior, e realizou várias consultorias na área em universidades como o INTEC e a UASD e noutras instituições como o MINERD, o EPSI, entre outras. Ao longo da sua carreira tem recebido vários reconhecimentos pelo seu bom desempenho, dedicação e paixão pelo ensino.
