Follow your dreams, it may lead to your destinyThe significance of my book is that I had to literally catch up with my own writing. As I start to write this book, I thought I had conquered the fears and the uncertaintiesof my life to the point where I was ready to spill out to the world of my victorieswhile teaching others to live out their purpose in life. After writing this book, suddenly I felt uncertainties start to creep back in. I thenrealize that I had to rethink my views. What were the connections I was missing?Little, did I know that there were still some things that I still had to learn. After all Iwanted to present the best picture of how the heart, mind, body and soul must all bein sync, in order to present our best product possible. I needed to fully understandthe connection of these entities and how they work together brining harmonyand peace in our lives. I had to fully understand and practice it in my life so that Iwill never fall back into where I just came out of. If by chance I do fall again andI will. I will have a backdrop that will stop me from falling and catapult me backon my feet. No matter our age, growth takes place every minute of every day ofour lives. As I now realize the connection, I can feel a transformation taking placewithin me. Inspire yourself and realize your true worth. Fight whatever tries toblock your progress, the fight will be worthwhile because in the end you will win. There are two battles you must fight, one is within and one is without. Yourbiggest fight comes from within. No matter what voices you hear in your head, listen only to that Voice that tells you that You Can and You will. The closer youget to fulfilling your dreams the harder situations become around you. Use theseas motivating steps to get you to your next level.Your second fight comes from without, without having to get permission from theworld to bring your visions to life. Obstacles still present but are now invisible toyou gone. Dreams realized. You are in control over your life, the world can’t stop you anymore. Keep it going. Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close theywere to success when they gave up.' - Thomas A. Edison.

‘There’s a touch of both Dickinson and Larkin in Jennifer Chrystie’s mature exhumation of the tales and tropes of family. Figures who could so easily flit like phantoms in her well honed poetry are palpably enjoying an after-life in the poet’s ability to redeem through deep understanding. The collection arcs from, at one extreme, the parsimonies of the household, to the transce...

  • One Kiss
    Edward V Bonner
The very title of Edward V. Bonner's first volume of poetry, One Kiss (Ingram, 2015), suggests some ways in which the poems inside balance the universal with the particular. Most of the poems examine the themes of beauty and risk, pleasure and danger, in the context of one of three kinds of relationships: to romantic partners, to the spiritual world, and to the world of nature....
