Sexuality is a relevant manifestation in adolescence, it is a phase of more intimate and affective discovery of the other and the creation of new sentimental bonds.The nurse has an incomparable role as an educator, counselor and respecter of adolescents in their experience of sexuality. It is essential to identify the importance of sex education as one of the methods that influences the way adolescents experience adolescence. The socializing role of nurses is crucial when it comes to understanding how adolescents behave with regard to their sexuality, in order to teach them, welcome them and intervene in order to make it easier for them to experience their sexuality in an informed, enjoyable and responsible way.
