Eighteen-year-old high school senior Dennis Moore is in a quandary. But with his father passed away and his mother and brother both battling serious health issues, Dennis’s sense of duty is overwhelming as he wonders if he should stay on the farm and help his family.Gifted through his faith with strength and confidence enough to see him through many crises, Dennis is inspired by his partnership with a crime prevention program that places troubled boys at their family farm to perform chores and hopefully gain self-esteem. As he continues to pray for answers, Dennis is encouraged by his high school counselor to apply to the police academy. But just as he thinks he is squaring away his future, Dennis’s brother, Paul, becomes gravely ill again. Now, Dennis must learn to trust God’s wisdom as he attempts to balance his dreams with his obligation to his family and the farm.In this Christian coming-of-age story, a young man standing at a crossroads must wait and hope that the Lord will provide the answers he so desperately needs to move forward with his life.
