La Nouvelle Génération d’Université Numérique Ouverte (NG-UNO) est une consécration des enseignements à distance dans les universités. Nonobstant, la croissance de l’utilisation des outils mobiles (laptops, tablettes et téléphones portables) a engendré l’amélioration du modèle de la NG-UNO initialement proposé dans le but d’étendre les salles de classe numérique à travers les réseaux ad hoc et assurer le suivi synchrone des cours. En effet, les protocoles de la couche réseau, OLSR (Optimized Link State Routing Protocol), et Transport, SCTP (Stream Control Transmission Protocol), vont permettre d’étudier, de mesurer et d’optimiser les paramètres de la Qualité de Services liés à la fois au délai de synchronisation et à la taille des zones tampons en faisant évoluer l’affluence des apprenants dans la salle de classe de la NG-UNO. Les résultats ont permis de situer OLSR dans le choix du meilleur protocole de la couche réseau permettant le suivi synchrone des cours. Cet ouvrage s’adresse aux étudiant et chercheurs dans le domaine de l’enseignement à distance dans les universités, aux ingénieurs et techniciens IT et toute personne intéressée par le numérique et l’enseignement à distance.
