Questa volta l’autore ci offre un serial killer con una trama fitta e complessa, violenta e spietata. L’indagine è rischiosa, ai limiti del regolamento, ma i nostri due eroi non esitano a mettere a repentaglio la lora vita dopo la provvidenziale intuizione che il modus operandi del brutale carnefice è meticolosamente ispirato dalla letteratura medioevale. Comicità colta e suspense rendono questo nuovo romanzo straordinariamente avvincente. Benetti ci propone un’altro incantevole spaccato della realtà pampeana con un breve, ma delizioso interludio patagonico.
