The new collection of poems in the English language by an admired Danish poet. Ole Wesenberg Nielsen is a Danish punk poet whose work is widely admired. Born in 1965 in Fredericia he now lives in Aarhus, Denmark, where he works as a social-educator during the day, and is an underground rock DJ on the weekends. His first collection of poems, Happiness is a Rumour, was published by Les Éditions du Zaporogue, in 2008. That collection was described as 'a mystical punk assemblage of daily reflections and lyrical visions, laced with psychedelic-fueled humour.' This new collection further extends Nielsen's range while losing nothing of his acerbic wit and passion. 'Ole Wesenberg Nielsen's poems question our smug, self-satisfied society. . . nothing is safe from the stiletto jabs of his words as they attack the flesh of cant, hypocrisy and self-delusion.'
