Escrever a partir da 'clandestinidade' e tentar dialogar com um mundo em desordem representa um duplo problema. Mas também representa um duplo desafio. A minha posição no 'subterrâneo' não deve ser comparada com a do narrador de Dostoiévski nas suas Notas do Subsolo, exceto como crítica aos governos que, ao planearem a utopia, ignoram os direitos de tantos dos seus cidadãos. Escrevo a partir da 'clandestinidade' porque me oponho à ideologia reinante da atualidade, que é o politicamente correto. Ser politicamente incorreto é ser marginalizado da sociedade e visto como um pária. No entanto, mesmo sendo um escritor clandestino, continuo a ter uma voz que pode ser ouvida e o que considero ser um corretivo que pode ser aplicado. Este trabalho é uma tentativa de oferecer ideias que estão ausentes da agenda popular. É uma compilação de 'notas', mais do que uma série de longas argumentações, oferecidas a pessoas de boa vontade que estão perturbadas pela incoerência do pensamento contemporâneo e que procuram colocar as suas convicções morais numa base mais racional, segura e consistente.
