In A. V. Smith’s, Normal Chaos: Ledoma, forces of nature are eternal. As they move in unison, these forces also move apart. At a point in time known ages ago, these forces sought to control their own destiny. Fire blazed out of control. The Water rose up, The Wind blew ruthlessly, and The Earth spat at everything in its path. No force lost and no force gained, for nature cannot destroy itself-only take on different forms. .....In the moments after time and space came into existence, the war between the light and the dark was born. The furious battle escalated when the Creator formed the Earth.Every thousand years the earth and humanity went through a cycle of transformation. For a series of seven cycles, each one lasting a millennium, the balance between shadow and light tilted. During this transformation, those of the shadow were ruled by dark magic, and they wielded it to satisfy their greed for coin, power, and dominion over all others. Ogres, Wyverns, and Soachim were a few evil fiends unleashed to turn the world into chaos. The Creator gave the world the Light of the First Mother, the bridge between humanity and the heavens. She bound with the Original Giants and Dragons of the earth to stave off those of the darkness. It would be her bloodline that fought against the shadow, but as her visions became clearer, she also knew some of her descendants would succumb to the darkness. Now, the Light was represented by the Tree of Life and protected by the Order of Petals. The Seventh Age was drawing close.AE 781
